Common Questions

We allow for airflow and use moisture-resistant materials like vinyl plank flooring and treated lumber where appropriate. We also recommend continuous dehumidification.

Drop ceilings allow easy access to pipes and wires but look more commercial. Drywall ceilings look like a main floor but require access panels for shut-offs. We can box out ducts to keep ceilings as high as possible.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) is the best choice for basements. It is 100% waterproof, warm underfoot, and extremely durable.

Permits may be required depending on the scope and the town. We handle the paperwork when they are needed.
